Born in London, then grew up in Old Town, Swindon, England
Sibling #4 of 5. Moved to the USA in 1996 and came back in 2014. Trained over 200 USA photographers in the art of portrait and weddings photography.

I started Photography with a Zenith SLR camera that my father bought me when I was nine years old. Then when I was 15, my arts teacher turned the room into a pinhole camera and that was it, I was smitten from that moment onward.

I could not put the camera down. I soon got my next camera, I think it was a Minolta, and before long I worked my way through most of the makes until I got to a Nikon FG, (and this was back in the days of Film Photography), so you had to get it right first time, and you learned to be creative in camera by doing all the work in camera not later. I believe this sets me apart from most other photographers, as even when I shoot digital I shoot in Digital raw and the images are right in camera, making final edits perfect for whatever I need to do to make the creative mood for my style for that image at that moment.

With the history I have in Weddings and in Photography, it’s second nature to me and I love it, and weddings are what feeds my creative soul.  As an old romantic at heart I thoroughly enjoy my role in the documenting of each couples special day, My clients know it, I think that’s why they book with me and stay in touch for years later.

The most exciting moment for me is when the prints and books arrive, and the couples come in for the final preview, this is the moment I really get excited as by this time, the couple and the family have become great friends and they are excitedly anticipating what they are about to view. I hit play for the digital video or prints, and have the books and physical prints ready, everything projects to the big screen so they can see it, and I watch to see their faces... its priceless, and the reason why I do this!  It’s always tears of joy, and to see them relive that moment, It is the reason why I am a Wedding Photographer, and why I will always do this, I just love seeing people happy. What better gift can you give anyone!
